Eight months after embarrassing allegations about Tiger Woods' extramarital affairs first hit the gossip pages, a divorce settlement has been finalized between Woods and his former wife, Elin Nordegren. Nordegren's sister, Josefin Lonnborg, is a corporate associate at McGuireWoods in London, and it appears that family ties paid off for the firm. According to a statement released by McGuireWoods, Lonnborg was one of five lawyers from the firm representing Nordegren in her divorce from Woods.

Lawmaker Drops Effort to Honor Woods
A California lawmaker announces Wednesday that he is no longer backing legislation that would honor disgraced golfer Tiger Woods with a Congressional Gold Medal. Rep. Joe Baca, D-Calif., says that "in light of the recent developments surrounding Tiger Woods and his family, I will not pursue [the] legislation."
