Iran Begins Recounting Disputed Votes
In an apparent attempt to mollify the opposition, Iran starts
recounting votes from its disputed June 12 election. Meanwhile,
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asks judiciary authorities to probe
the killing of Neda Agha Soltan, the young woman who became a
symbol of the protest movement after her death was caught on video.

amateur video posted on YouTube apparently shows people chanting,
pushing barricades and throwing rocks during a protest in Tehran.
